“Nice try of advertising your cafe on Instagram Ads. I know you are catering for the people in your hotel but I will judge this place objectively. Taste wise, not sure if it's worth close to $30 for each (with gst and service charge). Nothing special and just tastes like ingredients assembled into a burger rather than a whole cohesive burger. Cafe atmosphere was bright and clean though.”

“I had an amazing lunch at The Café at The Standard, the Western/American-inspired restaurant and bar at The Standard, Singapore. It was such a fun, vibrant spot with great food, drinks, and atmosphere! Here’s what I tried: Truffle Fries: Perfectly crispy and loaded with truffle goodness—a classic done right! Naughty Chicken Burger (D): The crispy buttermilk-marinated chicken paired with tangy sriracha and shredded cabbage was an explosion of flavors. Served with fries, it’s a must-try comfort dish. Eggy Kale Salad (D, V, N): A refreshing mix of marinated kale, shaved onions, grated eggs, sweet potato, spiced walnuts, and tahini dressing. The perfect balance of healthy and hearty. Fish & Chips (S, D): A classic done beautifully—battered fish that was crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, with a tangy tartare sauce and fries. And, of course, I couldn’t miss their special milkshakes! Coco Solero Shake: A tropical twist with vanilla ice cream, NOBO coconut milk, lime puree, spiced vanilla syrup, Biscoff crumbs, whipped cream, and Flor de Cana rum. So refreshing and unique! Salted Berry Shake: A decadent blend of vanilla ice cream, house-made strawberry jam, cream cheese, pink Himalayan salt, and Seven Tails Spiced Brandy. Sweet, salty, and absolutely indulgent. Bourbon Biscoff Shake: Vanilla ice cream with Biscoff spread, milk, chocolate popping candy, whipped cream, and Jack Daniels Old No. 7. A dessert in a glass—rich and satisfying! The design of the space is youthful and stylish, with views overlooking the hotel’s lush garden that add to the relaxed and inviting vibe. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. If you’re looking for a delicious, casual meal with a fun twist, The Café at The Standard is the perfect spot. I’ll definitely be back to try more!”

“🟨Café Standard 🟢 The Standard ( 🟥 *newly opened hotel) 12 Orange Grove Road #01-00, Singapore 258353 🟦 We discovered this new hotel that opened in Dec 2024. It is just sited right next to Shangri-La Hotel.▪︎ My hubby and I had reserved a table for two at Cafe Standard ( ground floor). ❇️ Upon stepping into the lobby entrance, I was greeted by Asgi, the bell boy, who greeted us cheerfully and directed us to the cafe. 🟨 At Cafe Standard, we were served by Mike and Justin, who were both amiable, very polite and they proceeded to inform us of the hotel's other amenities like the Pool Deck area & Kaya restaurant on the upper floors. 🧡 We ordered the classic Fish and Chips and Iced Cafe Latte. ✔️ The battered fish and chips were very fresh and tasty. You can tell straightaway it was a well-crafted dish. 🟢 The Cafe Standard also opens up to a beautifully landscaped verdant garden, full of luscious foliage. 🟨 Even though the garden area is small, I feel it is a compact oasis of vibrant color and lush greenery, where carefully curated plants and cascading creeper vines create a harmonious and inviting space. ⚫️ The landscape artist had done an awesome job = maximizing every inch with thoughtful design, despite the garden's mini size. 🩷 I would like to return to this beautiful hotel again soon. 🙏🏻 Thank You to all staff for their kind hospitality earlier. 🟠Dated 9th Feb 2025 Sunday 🍊/ CNY 12th day”
